Steel Security to Secure of Property after Squatter Eviction

The Brief:

We received a request from the client for perforated steel sheeting to be fitted at an assigned time after a squatter eviction for a property based a few miles from Finsbury Park. The requirement was for all ground and first floor openings to be secured to prevent access and keep the site secure. It was also requested that we only screw into brickwork thus not causing any damage to the new frames installed at the property. Two Security doors were also installed and keys were given to the client for access. There was no requirement for additional CCTV/detectors however the client said that this may change in the future.

 

   

 

 

 

Our Solution:

Our operation team assigned for the job met the client on site at the time the eviction took place so that we were ready to install the required steel to the openings. As you can see in the photos, each opening was secured tight fit to the inner framework and the door installed along with additional sheeting above the rear door to cover the full opening space.

 

The Outcome:

Overall, a very satisfactory job completed. The client was very happy with the works installed; the communication had to be perfect between our office team liaising with the client who in turn was communicating with the bailiffs who attended site for the eviction at 9am on the date of install. Our operatives installed the required sheeting to every opening and the door was successfully installed for the client’s future access. It was also detailed that 3 of the openings were screwed into framework where required and the customer was always notified.
