Large Scale Perforated Steel Sheet & Door Installation

The Brief:

We received an enquiry to steel shutter a large, vacant site address in the South East of England of which needed urgent attention as the school holidays has meant a re-occurring presence of young people attempting to smash windows and possibly enter the property, of which was deemed extremely hazardous. The client asked for a site survey of which, due to the size and scale of the site, had to be completed meticulously. The steel shutters were required for ground, first and second floor openings, including sky lights for the roofing.

 

 

 

Our Solution:

Upon site survey completion, the steel sheeting was installed to all openings on the site with a steel security door also put in place for access in and out of the property. A lot of the openings had broken glass so for the ground floor openings these were shuttered first as a priority. A cherry picker was organised to facilitate the install of all first and second floor installs. The period of works took place over the course of two weeks.

The Outcome:

Upon completion of the works we sent our completion documentation to the client which displays all before and after photos. Our client was extremely satisfied with the works completed, expressed their gratitude at all communication from our office staff to the site operatives and said they would of course be in touch for any future works that materialise.
