Securing Rear Door of Public House – London

The Brief:

The entrance of a public house in London needed to be temporarily secured while some construction works on site were being completed.

The Solution:

Our team attended site to secure the rear entrance door on the ground floor of the pub. There were wooden panels around the door and the customer wanted to reinforce this area, to avoid any possible intrusion while the site works were underway.

We installed a steel security door and a steel sheet around it for added protection. Our steel security doors are available in a number of widths and can also be made to custom sizes, to fit over existing entry points.

We offer flexible fixing methods, typically using timber frames to affix steel sheets, to minimise damage to existing doors and frames. On this occasion, and at the customer’s request, we constructed steel frames to secure the sheet to the property, for extra security. These frames were fitted with anchor bolts, which are specially designed to securely attach the steel sheet to the exterior wall.

The Outcome:

The installation took our team an hour and a half to complete and the security measures were in place for 12 weeks until the construction works were completed. The customer was reassured that while the works were underway, the main access point to the pub was fully secured and safe from intrusion.
